<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting or the like of the frictional force of friction members 61, 62 and a seismic isolation cycle by an elastic body 51 at desired target values. <P>SOLUTION: A seismic isolation device includes a support section and a friction damper section interposed in parallel in a vertical space between a seismic isolation object and a lower structure under the same. The friction damper section includes the pair of upper and lower friction members, the elastic body, a disk spring, and an adjustment mechanism adjusting the magnitude of pressure-contact force by adjusting a deflection amount of the disk spring, and includes a support member arranged in parallel to the elastic body. The support member permits relative displacement of the upper and lower ends of the elastic body in the horizontal direction and receives the pressure-contact force in place of the elastic body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
