<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liftable chair allowing a senior person or a person with a disability to readily adjust the height of a seat portion, and having reduced production cost. <P>SOLUTION: The liftable chair includes: a movable body 10 in which upper front support legs 11 and an upper rear support leg 12 lifting along a pair of lower front support legs 3 and a lower rear support leg 4 of a support body 1, are connected by an armrest plate 13, and horizontal rods for connecting the upper front support legs 11 and the upper rear support leg 12, are mounted with a seat portion 16; and a lifting device for adjusting the height of the movable body 10. The lifting device stores rods in horizontal grooves formed in a pivoted cam plate in a retractable manner, the inner ends of the rods are connected to the cam plate and the outer ends are inserted into the upper front support legs and the upper rear support leg, movable racks projecting and retreating in a transverse direction relative to the axial direction of the rods are provided in the upper front support legs 11 and the upper rear support leg 12, the movable racks are engaged to fixed racks oppositely provided in vertical grooves in the lower front support legs 3 and the lower rear support leg 4, the rod is moved forward to fit the outer end into a locking hole formed in the movable rack, the movable body 10 is fixed to a support body 1, and the seat 16 is adjusted to a desired height. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
