<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor which enhances vibration resistance and heat resistance stress properties and can prevent defects such as wire breakage, under a use environment in a wide temperature range from a room temperature to a high temperature of 900°C or higher in an exhaust system or the like of an internal combustion. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature sensor housing a thermistor element 2 in a closed side end of a tubular metal cover 3 fills a space in the closed side end of the metal cover 3 with a filler 11, and holds the thermistor element 2. The filler 11 contains filler particles which contain alumina as a main component, water and a dispersant, is formed by heat-treating a filler slurry containing no binder auxiliary, and has variation of Vickers hardness (Hv) of 20 or less after the heat treatment [maximum value-minimum value≤20]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
