<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a fully interesting pinball game machine for improving the expectations of a player by changing a variation table for selecting a variation pattern of a symbol according to the advancement of a game. <P>SOLUTION: The pinball game machine includes first and second special symbol start pockets, performs winning/losing drawings of the first and second special symbols according to entry of game balls to the respective start pockets, shifts to a special game when the drawing results in a jackpot, performs the drawing of the second special symbol more preferentially than the first special symbol, and enables the jackpot of the second special symbol to be more advantageous to acquisition of winning game balls than the first special symbol. The pinball game machine includes first and second variation tables having different variation time as variation tables for selecting a variation pattern of the second special symbol in a game state where opening extension of a probability varying and normal motor-driven gadget is given.
