An engagement member-equipped optical fiber cable is configured so that the joint between the optical fiber cable and an optical connector has increased strength. An engagement member-equipped optical fiber cable is provided with: an optical fiber cable (11) having a sheath (111) and a tensile member (112); an inner ring (13) mounted at a position located further toward the tip side than a position of the outer peripheral surface of the sheath (111), the position being that at which the tensile member (112) is led out of the sheath (111) through a slit (1111); an engagement member (12) having a first portion (121) located on the opposite side of the position of the outer peripheral surface of the sheath (111), the position being that at which the tensile member (112) is led out of the sheath (111) through the slit (1111), from the side on which the inner ring (13) is mounted, the engagement member (12) also having a second portion (122) superposed on the outer periphery of the inner ring (13). The first portion (121) of the engagement member (12) is joined to the sheath (111), and an end of the tensile member (112) is gripped between the inner ring (13) and the second portion (122) of the engagement member (12).
