<p>The device has a contact roller (1), via which a material web is guided. The web is conveyed to a coil, which stands in contact with a surface (100) of the roller. The roller comprises a supporting tube (10) and fibers (12) that protrude over the supporting tube at an outer side, where the fibers extend transverse to a longitudinal axis (L) of the roller. One end (121) of the fibers is fixed at the supporting tube, and the other free end (120) of the fibers defines the surface of the roller. The fibers exhibit length that ranges from 1 to 250 mm and are formed on the basis of plastic.</p> |
