<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a burden applied to a user in the setting of a display form of a merchandise specific image. <P>SOLUTION: This merchandise selection device of an embodiment includes display form determination means, display control means, and merchandise reception means. The display form determination means combines the display forms of partial areas of the merchandise specific image allocated to each attribute to display the merchandise specific image for specifying merchandise having a plurality of attributes, and determines a display form of the merchandise specific image of the merchandise having the plurality of attributes. The display control means displays the merchandise specific image in an indicator with the display form determined by the determination means.
