<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-operated valve such as a four way valve which can secure as much as possible or preferably all of opening/closing patterns of a valve provided to a flow path without upsizing even when the number of flow paths to be switched is increased. <P>SOLUTION: In the motor-operated valve, a compound cam member 150 contains a plurality of annular cam parts (inner cam part 151 and outer cam part 152) which are arranged in a radial direction of a rotor in response to multiple types of heights of flange parts 122a, 122b, 122c provided as engaging parts so as to selectively push up valve elements 120a, 120b, 120c and which include projections to be engaged with the engaging parts of the valve elements 120 in a circumferential direction. Even when the increase in the number of switchings leads to the increase in the number of valve elements 120, annular cam parts 151, 152 of such a number determined corresponding to the types of heights of the flange parts 122 are provided so that the number of operation patterns for opening/closing respective valve elements are large.
