<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC/DC converter that can quickly respond to sudden reduction of a load current or an overshoot caused by this for avoiding or suppressing the overshoot. <P>SOLUTION: The DC/DC converter 300 comprises: an inductor L1; a first switching device SW1 connected between the inductor L1 and an input voltage terminal to which input voltage V<SB POS="POST">IN</SB>is applied; a second switching device SW2 connected between a ground terminal GND and a node between the first switching device SW1 and the inductor L1; a capacitor C<SB POS="POST">OUT</SB>connected between the ground terminal GND and an output voltage terminal from which output voltage V<SB POS="POST">OUT</SB>is provided; and a third switching device SW3 connected between the inductor L1 and the output voltage terminal.
