<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IPS type liquid crystal display device having small numbers of layers and photo processes, which prevents an increase in OFF-curent caused by a photo current of a TFT. <P>SOLUTION: A drain electrode 104 and a source electrode 105 which constitute a drain line 104 and a TFT, have a laminated structure of a metal layer and a semiconductor layer 103. The drain line 104 and the drain electrode 104 are divided together with the semiconductor layer 103 formed below them, and are connected by a block conductive film 107 made of ITO, which is also the material of a pixel electrode 106. The block conductive film 107 blocks a photo current generated by light from a back light to prevent the photo current from flowing into the TFT. Thus, it is possible to decrease the number of photos without increasing the OFF-current of the TFT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
