<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe pressing implement in an image diagnostic system, which enables a relative position of a probe and a measurement object to surely and easily be fixed by using a balloon of a predetermined size without depending on the duct diameter of a measurement area, in measuring tomographic information by bringing the probe which protrudes at the tip of the insertion section of an endoscope into close contact with a measurement object along the longitudinal direction, and also, can easily positions the probe to the intended measurement area. <P>SOLUTION: The probe pressing implement 710 is installed at the tip of the insertion section 144 of the endoscope 100. A frame body 720, a slit 760 and the balloon 780 are arranged around the OCT probe 600 which is led out of the insertion section distal end 144.
