<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for identifying an electric apparatus being used and a method of determining consumption state of gas, capable of determining at least one of a gas leakage and a gas apparatus being used while suppressing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A device for identifying an electric apparatus being used includes a gas meter 40 which is installed on a consumer side and measures at least gas flow rate, a management center 50 which receives at least the data from the gas meter 40. The gas meter 40 transmits a measurement value data based on the signal outputted from a pressure sensor and a flow rate sensor. The management center 50 receives the measurement value data, and determines at least one of a gas leakage and a gass apparatus being used based on the vibration waveform obtained during a minute period starting from the time in which the received measurement value data changes in an amount of a predetermined value or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
