<p>A joint for wires serving as ties for bales of cotton, wool, synthetic fibers and the like, the wire ends to be connected each comprising a rebent portion forming loops which define male and/or female members to be hooked one in to the other, the joint having means to reinforce the male member so that it withstands the maximum tensile stress applied to the tie without disengaging from the female member, the distal ends of the wire preferably being secured to the wire length by spot welding.</p> |
