STRUCTURE OF BLOCKING THE MOISTURE FOR AIR BLOWN FIBER OPTIC CABLE

PURPOSE: A waterproof structure of an optical cable installed with air pressure is provided to solve various problems due to a jelly compound while measuring or connecting of a loose tube by mounting a waterproofing compound. CONSTITUTION: A central tensile line(10) provides anti-tensile force by being located in the central part of an optical cable. A plurality of loose tubes(20) mounts a plurality of optical fibers(21) within the tube(23) while being arranged on the circumferential surface of the central tensile line. A waterproof tape(30) blocks moisture by covering the circumferential surface of the loose tubes. An outer cover(50) blocks external environment by covering the boundary surface of the waterproof tape. The internal spaces of the waterproof tape and the loose tubes are filled with a waterproofing compound(40) in order to protect the central tensile line and the loose tubes.
