METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SECTION SHAPE STEEL CUTTING

PURPOSE: A section shape steel cutting method and apparatus are provided to exclude a long preheating and cutting path because a preheating edge is formed adjacent to a cut position and cutting starts from the preheating edge. CONSTITUTION: A section shape steel cutting method comprises the steps of: loading an object on a stage(S100), recognizing the loaded position of the object and setting a cutting position(S200), forming a preheating edge for gas cutting at a position close to the corresponding cutting position of the object based on a cutting position setting value using a plasma cutting machine(S300), and cutting the object along a preset cutting path using a gas cutting machine based on a cutting position setting value(S400).
