PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for solid oxide fuel cells, a solid oxide fuel cell using the electrode, a manufacturing method of the electrode, and a manufacturing method of the solid oxide fuel cell using the electrode having both of excellent durability and electrode performance.

SOLUTION: In an electrode for solid oxide fuel cells, a solid oxide fuel cell using the electrode, a manufacturing method of the electrode, and a manufacturing method of the solid oxide fuel cell using the electrode, the electrode includes: a compact layer; and a porous layer provided on the compact layer. A thickness of the compact layer is 10 μm or less. A thickness of the porous layer is 5 μm or more.
