<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a right copyright for electronic data recorded on an information recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An information apparatus comprises: a first receiving unit for receiving copy-controlled electronic data; a first information device for recording the electronic data received by the first receiving unit on a first information recording medium; a second information device for reading out the electronic data recorded on the first information recording medium and recording the read-out electronic data on a second information recording medium. When a copy limit M (where M is an integer of zero or more) of the electronic data recorded on the first information recording medium is not zero, the copy limit of the electronic data recorded on the second information recording medium is set as R (where R is an integer of zero to M-1). When recording the electronic data with the set copy limit R onto the second information recording medium, the copy limit M of the electronic data recorded on the first information recording medium is updated into the copy limit (M-(R+1)), the electronic data recorded on the second information recording medium is recorded onto the first information recording medium again based on the copy limit R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
