PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to take action against a defect before the defect is generated concerning operation performed in an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: An information acquiring section 1021 for event generating arrival time of a composite machine 31 acquires the information of the event generating arrival time which shows elapsed time until a specific event is generated in other composite machines 32 and 33 concerning predetermined operation from the other composite machines 32 and 33. A calculation section 105 of the composite machine 31 calculates a difference between elapsed time information which is elapsed time in which the predetermined operation is performed in the composite machine 31 of the user's own calculated by an elapsed time information calculation section 101 and event generating arrival time information acquired by the event generating arrival time information acquiring section 1021 (S13). When it is determined by a determination unit 106 that the difference reaches a predetermined limit value (YES at S4), a controller 103 permits a display section 150 to display warning (S5).
