<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of displaying an image without making a user feel discomfort even under a situation that the user views a 3D image through an external device, in a state that the imaging apparatus is communicably connected to the external device capable of displaying the 3D image, and to provide an image communication system for image communication that includes the imaging apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a display unit capable of displaying a three-dimensional image based on two images; a display image generation unit for generating a display image displayed by the display unit, using at least one of the two images; a transmission image generation unit for generating a transmission image for displaying on the external device, using the two images; and a communication unit for transmitting the transmission image generated by the transmission image generation unit to the external device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
