<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial machine capable of calculating the z-axis shift amount of a ram due to thermal expansion with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A three-dimensional measuring machine 1 (an industrial machine) comprises: a column 221 and a supporter 225 along the Z-axis; a slider 223 movable on a beam 222 provided between the column 221 and the supporter 225; a ram 224 supported by the slider 223 movably in the Z-axis direction; a temperature detection sensor 226 and a temperature detection part 32 for detecting respective temperatures of the column 221, the supporter 225 and the ram 224; and a shift amount calculation part 33 for calculating the Z-axis shift amount based on the respective temperatures, reference position data indicating positional relation at a reference temperature and thermal expansion coefficients, of the column 221, the supporter 225 and the ram 224. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
