<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve not only miniaturization of a high voltage power supply device constituting an image forming apparatus,but also high image quality of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of photosensitive drums 41, each of chargers 50 and each of developing rollers 45 provided for a respective one of the plurality of photosensitive drums 41, a voltage application circuit 200 connected in common with each of the chargers 50 and applying a voltage to each of the chargers 50, a first control device 110 for controlling an output voltage Vo of the voltage application circuit 200, each of step-down circuits 300 connected in common with the output lines of the voltage application circuit 200 and generating a development voltage Vd to be applied to each of the developing rollers 45 by stepping down the output voltage Vo of the voltage application circuit 200, and a second control device 110 for individually controlling a voltage drop amount in each of the step-down circuits 300 so that the output voltage Vd of each of the step-down circuits 300 becomes a target value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
