摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection apparatus capable of reducing noise output by a photo-detector. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation detection apparatus includes: a scintillator that has an incident face, on which radiation is incident, and generates light from the radiation which is incident; a plurality of photo-detectors that detect the generated light and are arranged in the shape of single dimension; and a linear resistance part that can be extended a plurality of times at points with a prescribed resistance value, to each of which a branch line can be connected. The photo-detectors includes a light detection element for generating an electric signal out of light and a signal extraction circuit that suppresses signal components in the electric signal that fall below the reference signal strength and extracts signal components that reach the reference signal strength, and output signals of each of the signal extraction circuits contained in the plurality of photo-detectors arranged in the shape of single dimension are input in the linear resistance part via the branch lines. The positions of the photo-detectors arranged in the shape of single dimension are associated with the resistance value of the linear resistance part at the connection point of the branch line in which the output signal of the signal extraction circuit of each photo-detector is input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
