<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge capable of being smoothly attached to a main body of an apparatus, and an image forming apparatus having the same. <P>SOLUTION: A process cartridge includes a photosensitive drum 5, a connection member 47 to which driving force for rotating the photosensitive drum 5 is inputted, and a drum frame 21 for holding the photosensitive drum 5 and the connection member 47. The drum frame 21 has formed therein a substantially cylindrical protection part 30 projecting in a direction of a rotational axis line of the photosensitive drum 5. The connection member 47 is disposed (accommodated) inside the protection part 30. A projected dimension of a rear part 31 of the protection part 30 is less than that of the front part 32 thereof. Accordingly, when the process cartridge 3 is attached to a body casing 2, the rear part 31 of the protection part 30 is prevented from being caught on any member disposed in the body casing 2, allowing the process cartridge 3 to be smoothly attached to the body casing 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
