<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire brain waves and to detect biological information (such as pulse) highly precisely. <P>SOLUTION: A biological information detection apparatus includes: an LED 31 for emitting detection light to a living body (finger); a PD (Photodiode) 42 for receiving light scattered from the living body among the detection light beams; a brain waves acquisition/processing part for acquiring the biological information on the basis of the detection light received by the PD 42. A shortest distance D<SB POS="POST">3</SB>between a first circular range on the living body in which radius D<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is represented by D<SB POS="POST">1</SB>=L×tan(θ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>/2) by using the directivity angle θ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of the LED 31 and a distance L between the LED 31 and the living body and a second circular range on the living body in which radius D<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is represented by D<SB POS="POST">2</SB>=L×tan(θ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/2) by using the directivity angle θ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>of the PD 42 and the distance L, satisfies O≤D<SB POS="POST">3</SB>≤2(D<SB POS="POST">1</SB>+D<SB POS="POST">2</SB>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
