<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an intermediate server does not contribute to providing information useful for users in a local search system comprising a navigation device, a local search server, and the intermediate server. <P>SOLUTION: An intermediate server 1 determines an information acquisition URL on the basis of request information including a search keyword or the like for a local search, which is transmitted from a navigation device 2, and search information transmitted from a local search server 3. The intermediate server 1 acquires additional information on the basis of the determined information acquisition URL and adds the acquired additional information to the search information from the local search server 3.
