<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a crew to confirm the safety for boarding and alighting of passengers, in a passenger vehicle having a plurality of entrances separated from each other on one side face. <P>SOLUTION: In an image display system, a partial image SP1 indicating a region in the vicinity of a front entrance and a partial image SP2 indicating a region in the vicinity of a rear entrance are clipped and generated from a photographed image acquired by one on-vehicle camera, and then, displayed on a display device. Not the whole part of a lateral region on a left side of a passenger vehicle but only the regions in the vicinity of the respective two entrances are displayed on the display device. Thereby, a crew can pay attention adequately to the regions in the vicinity of the respective two entrances that is regions to be confirmed.
