<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a casing of a cooking apparatus, particularly the front surface and the front upper surface of the cooking apparatus that a cooking person is likely to touch, from being heated to high temperatures by heat generated inside the casing and to prevent air outside of the apparatus from being heated to high temperatures by the heat radiated from the casing. <P>SOLUTION: In this liquid-heating cooking apparatus 1, a heat-blocking frame 4 surrounding a liquid tank 3, a combustion chamber 62 and a combustion gas passage 64 is installed in the casing 2. An opening in the top of the heat-blocking frame 4 is closed by the liquid tank 3, and the heat-blocking frame 4 and the liquid tank 3 together form a heated air flow passage 100.
