摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for suppressing charging failure as well as suppressing contamination of a toner carrier by fixing resin fine particles to a toner surface while accompanying deformation of the resin fine particles upon fixing and by controlling a degree of the deformation. <P>SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development comprises toner base particles to which resin fine particles and inorganic fine particles are externally added. The toner base particles contain at least a binder resin and a colorant. The resin fine particles are fixed as monodispersion to the surfaces of the toner base particles. The average diameter a (nm) of circles of contact faces between the fixed resin fine particles and the surface of the toner base particle, the average height b (nm) of the fine particles from the contact face, and the diameter c (nm) of the resin fine particle at a height of b/2 satisfy a ranging from 70 to 160 nm, b/a ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 and c/a ranging from 0.6 to 0.8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
