<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed window with minimum exposure of a frame material, capable of enhancing design performance. <P>SOLUTION: A window frame assembled from an upper frame 21, a lower frame 22, right and left vertical frames 24 and 25 is installed in an opening 15 formed on a wall body of a building to accommodate a glass 26 therein. The upper frame 21 and the right and left frames 24 and 25 have glass support parts 21a, 24a, and 25a projecting toward inside of the frame, respectively. The glass 26 is pressed from the indoor side with bead members 27 and 28, so as to be fixed to the upper frame 21 and the right and left vertical frames 24 and 25, being interleaved between the bead members 27 and 28 and the glass support parts 21a, 24a, and 25a. Inner edges 21b, 24b, and 25b of the glass support parts 21a, 24a, and 25a of the upper frame 21 and the right and left vertical frames 24 and 25, and an edge 15a of the opening 15 adjacent to an outer wall are arranged at an overlapping position in depth direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
