摘要 [Problem] To provide a Fe2VAl thermoelectric conversion material that is formed from a compound for which the three element composition ratio of a basic Fe2VAl structure is adjusted without substitution by other elements and which exhibits excellent electric power generation efficiency in a high temperature range. [Solution] The chemical composition ratio for a Fe2VAl basic structure having a Heusler alloy type crystal structure and having a valence electron total per chemical formula of 24 is adjusted to satisfy the general formula Fe2V1-ZAl1+Z (-0.03 = z = 0.12) or the general formula Fe2V1-ZAl1+Z (-0.12 = z = -0.03). In the case of the former, a p type is formed, and the temperature at which the absolute value for the Seebeck coefficient reaches a peak is 400 K or greater. In the case of the latter, an n type is formed, and the temperature at which the absolute value for the Seebeck coefficient reaches a peak is 310 K or greater.
