PURPOSE: A battery electrode, a manufacturing method thereof, a non-aqueous electrolyte battery, a battery pack, and active material are provided to supply a battery pack with improved life cycle and charge/discharge efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of battery electrode comprises the following steps: forming protic titanate compound by reacting alkali titanate compound with acid(S41); manufacturing titanium oxide compound particle having monoclinic titanium dioxide crystalline structure by heating the protic titanate compound; and manufacturing basic polymer which exists on a surface of the titanium oxide compound particle; dispersing the titanium dioxide particle in the basic polymer solution and manufacturing dispersing solution(S43); separating titanium dioxide particle which is coated with the basic polymer from the dispersing solution; and manufacturing electrode slurry by dispersing the titanium dioxide particle in solvent(S46).
