SWITCH ELEMENT DRIVING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch element driving circuit capable of achieving size and cost reductions and suppressing an on-state of a switch element from becoming an insufficient state.

SOLUTION: A switch element driving circuit 10 includes: a transformer 11 in which the gate of a switch element 1 is connected between both ends of a secondary winding n2; a first control circuit 12 for turning on and off the switch element 1 by alternately providing an on-period for a current to run through a primary winding n1 of the transformer 11 and an off-period for no current to run through the primary winding n1; and a second control circuit 13 for controlling an applied voltage to be applied to the gate so that a current running through the switch element 1 will be equal to a setting value corresponding to a voltage across the secondary winding n2.
