<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-domain type liquid crystal display device capable of enlarging an aperture ratio of pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate including a plurality of gate lines juxtaposed in a first direction, a plurality of drain wires juxtaposed in a second direction, a first electrode formed with a plurality of slits and a planar second electrode formed superposed on the first electrode and actuates a liquid crystal by an electric field between the first electrode and the second electrode. An opening region enclosed with the drain wires and the gate lines includes opening regions where slits having a first inclination angle are formed, and opening regions where slits having a second inclination angle different form the first inclination angle are formed. The opening regions formed with the slits of the first inclination angle and the opening regions formed with the slits of the second inclination angle are alternately formed in the first direction and one pixel is formed from a pair of the first region and the second region facingly disposed in the both sides of the gate line, out of the opening regions adjacently disposed in the first direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
