<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion reliability between a resin base and a barrier film on a light receiving surface of a solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell of this invention has: a transparent resin base; a photoelectric conversion element formed on the transparent resin base; an adhesive inorganic layer formed on a surface of the transparent resin base, which is the side opposite to the photoelectric conversion element; an adhesive layer placed on the surface of the transparent resin base, which is on the adhesive inorganic layer side; and a barrier film placed on the adhesive layer and having an inorganic barrier layer. The surface of the transparent resin base, which is the side of the adhesive inorganic layer, is bonded to the inorganic barrier layer of the barrier film through the adhesive layer.
