<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a cooling performance in a flowing direction of cooling air. <P>SOLUTION: An intake port 2 and an exhaust port 3 are provided in a battery storage casing 4. The intake port 2 is blocked into upper and lower parts by a partition plate 400. Furthermore, the partition plate 400 extends toward a downstream side along an upper panel 416 of the battery storage casing 4. A main coolant passage 10 and a sub coolant passage 9 are formed on a lower side and an upper side of the partition plate 400, and air flowing in the intake port 2 is diverged into the main coolant passage 9 and the sub coolant passage 10. A spacing sufficiently larger than a spacing of a single battery 5 is formed between battery blocks in an upstream area and a downstream area as an intermediate chamber 11. The air flowing in the sub coolant passage 10 is emitted toward the intermediate chamber 11, and converged and mixed with the air in the main coolant passage 9, so as to produce the air with a low temperature. The battery block 7 at a rear stage is cooled by the air having a temperature lowered in the intermediate chamber 11, so as to enable a cooling performance to the battery block to uniformize. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
