<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ability for contrast AF to follow a moving subject. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic focus adjustment device includes: SAF means 40 for detecting a focus by detecting a phase difference between a pair of image signals of a subject; contrast AF means 50 for following a focal position by observing a change in a contrast value of an image of the subject by wobbling one of a photographic lens and an imager 16; and a camera MPU 20 for causing the SAF means 40 to detect the focus during wobbling by the contrast AF means 50 and correcting the deviation of the amplitude of fine reciprocal drive by the contrast AF means 50 from the result of the focus detection by the SAF means 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
