<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of suppressing memory capacity required for implementing a show-through removal processing in a small scale hardware. <P>SOLUTION: In a configuration where show-through removal processing and normal image processing are performed through a common image processing unit, expansion processing is performed to a compressed image data stored in a predefined storage memory, and the show-through removal processing is performed by substantially uniforming image data of a neighbouring color of a base color that satisfies a predefined high frequency condition among the expansion-processed data to the base color. In the predefined memory, when the show-through removed image data is compressed and stored in the predefined storage memory, the compressed image data overwrites a pre-expanded memory data storage area containing pre-expanded image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
