Provided is an ultrasound diagnostic device in which the oscillator array can be exchanged to have the frequency band appropriate for the diagnostic objective while also allowing size reduction and improved operability. The ultrasound probe (1) has a middle unit (4) that is wirelessly connected to a back unit (2), and a front unit (3) that is releasably connected to the middle unit (4) via a connector (5). On the front unit (3) are loaded an oscillator array (6) that has a specific frequency band, a frequency band preamp (8) that corresponds to the frequency band of the oscillator array (6), and a transmission driving unit (9) that outputs the drive voltage corresponding to the drive voltage for the oscillator array (6). The front unit (3), middle unit (4) and back unit (2) have dedicated CPUs (10, 15 and 20), which control the various parts within each unit. |
