The invention relates to the structure of the front part of a vehicle body, comprising: a wall separating the passenger compartment from the engine compartment and including a transverse cowl (1, 11) having two lateral ends, namely a right end (12) and a left end (13), and a lower recess crossmember (2) on which the windscreen rests; right and left side brackets (3) each having upper (31) and lower (32) ends, the upper ends of the brackets being solidly connected to the lower recess crossmember and the lower ends of the brackets being solidly connected to two suspension supports (4) and to the lateral ends of the cowl; and a transverse structural element (5) in the form of an arch disposed between the lower recess crossmember and the cowl, said element being curved outwards towards the lower recess crossmember (2) and having right (51) and left (52) lateral ends solidly connected to the brackets.
