The separating element (1) has a glass element (2) including a flat glass plate (3) and an infrared reflecting coating (7). A sum of reflection and absorption for a signal in a region of the reflecting coating at an infrared wavelength range from 850 to 950 Nm is larger that 85 percent and expands a length side larger than 1000 mm. The reflecting coating includes silver layers with thickness from 10 to 15 Nm, and the glass element is selected from thermally toughened glasses and a laminated sheet glass. The reflecting coating is arranged on surfaces of the glass element. The glass plate of the glass element is selected from lime- soda glass, fire-resistant glass i.e. borosilicate glass, crystalline or partially crystalline or ceramic or part of ceramic glass, low-iron glass with iron oxide less than 0.03 weight, gray glass, ionizing radiation protection glass with a lead content in the glass composition of 65 to 70 percentage of weight, and body-tinted glass, decorative glass, stained glass, color effect glass i.e. color effect glass, acrylic glass or polycarbonate glass.
