ENHANCED BUTANOL PRODUCING RECOMBINANT MICROORGANISMS AND METHOD FOR PREPARING BUTANOL USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A recombinant microorganism with improved butanol productivity and a method for producing butanol using the same are provided to simplify conversion of 2-ketoisovalerate into isobutyryl-CoA. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant microorganism with butanol productivity is prepared by introducing a gene into a microorganism with 2-ketoisovalerate productivity. The gene includes: a gene encoding VorABC enzyme consisting of VorA(2-ketoisovalerate ferredoxin reductase, alpha subunit), VorB(2-oxoisovalerate ferredoxin oxidoreductase) and VorC(2-ketoisovalerate ferredoxin reductase, gamma subunit); a gene encoding an enzyme which converts isobutyryl-CoA into butyryl-CoA; a gene encoding an enzyme which converts butyryl-CoA into butyraldehyde; and a gene encoding an enzyme which converts butyraldehyde into butanol.
