PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for sharing data of the neighbor device in navigation system are provided to secure a reception message by outputting event information which is generated from surrounding terminals. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus and a method for sharing data of the neighbor device in a navigation system, a terminal(100) supplies an event message including an event to be transmitted to the navigation system. The terminal is interlinked with the navigation system though a local area network. A message generator(104) generates an event message including information of the event. A navigation system(200) analyzes the event message from the portable terminal and output information corresponding to the event which is generated from the portable terminal through an alarm method to classify the event which is generated from the portable terminal.
