PURPOSE: A switching power supply is provided to sharply improve load regulation properties by regularly controlling the amplitude of a lamp signal. CONSTITUTION: A lamp generator(18) creates a lamp signal. A second feedback control circuit(2) creates an amplitude signal according to the amplitude of the lamp signal. An overlapping circuit(3) creates an overlapping signal by overlapping a second lamp signal in first regular voltage. A first feedback control circuit(1) controls on-timing and on-width of a high side MOSFET(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor). An off-timer(26) creates a forced off signal by determining a period which compulsively switches off a high side switch.
