<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for holding a flexible flat cable, which is excellent in workability by virtue of structural simplicity and which is formed in a shape capable of avoiding damage to the flexible flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: A retainer 25 for holding a flexible flat cable, which comprises a metal wire rod such as a spring steel wire, assumes a basic form in which two linear bodies 29 are connected together via an apex 28. A first arrowhead-shaped engaging portion 30 is formed at a leading end, and a second lateral engaging portion 31 is formed at the other end. A portion positioned on the flexible flat cable 22 is formed as a downward convexly curved portion 32. The engaging portions 30 and 31 can be inserted into engaging holes 26 and 27 by making the retainer 25 narrower so that both the linear bodies 29 can adhere tightly to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
