<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine pitch FFC (flat cable or flexible flat cable) which is excellent in flexibility by solving such problems that fine pitch formation of the FFC causes deterioration of a cable shape and reduction in flexibility accompanied with the deterioration of the cable shape. <P>SOLUTION: The flat cable is formed by arranging a plurality of rectangular conductors in parallel, and holding the rectangular conductors between upper and lower surfaces with a film base material while applying a tension T<SB POS="POST">1</SB>equal to or more than ä(conductor thickness)×(thickness of the film base material)×(3×10<SP POS="POST">6</SP>)/(width of a conductor clearance part)}N (formula 1) to all the rectangular conductors or some specified rectangular conductors to laminate them.
