PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a user's operation by allowing cooperation between an image delivery system and a library operation management system.

SOLUTION: An image delivery system that stores bibliographic information of books and is connected to an operation management system for managing operations of a library via a network, comprises: scanning means for scanning part of a book to generate image data; acquisition means for acquiring bibliographic information corresponding to the scanned book from the operation management system using information contained in the image data generated by the scanning means; and delivery means for delivering image data to which the bibliographic information acquired by the acquisition means is added.
