<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a compression ratio in image compression. <P>SOLUTION: For a tile image composed of a predetermined number of pixels that is determined to have three or less colors in the tile image and to have two or less colors in all blocks of 2×2 pixel size composing the tile image, an image processing device generates first packet data including color data information of a first color indicating color data of a pixel at a predetermined position in each block, color data information of the three or less colors existing in the tile image, first pattern information for specifying the arrangement pattern of color data in the each block, and selection information for selecting color data information of a second color different from the color data information of the first color in each of the blocks from among the color data information of the three or less colors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
