<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level gage for low-temperature liquified gas capable of improving the accuracy of measuring the position of a liquid level of the low-temperature liquified gas stored in a container. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid level gage 1 for low-temperature liquified gas includes a parallel circuit section 53, a measuring section 13, and an operation section 15. The parallel circuit section 53 is configured by connecting a plurality of series circuit sections 35 in parallel. A series circuit section 35 is configured by connecting a superconductor 31 and a resistor 33 in series. The superconductor 31 has a superconducting transition temperature higher than a boiling point of the low-temperature liquified gas. The operation section 15 calculates the number N of the superconductors 31 in a superconducting state out of the plurality of the superconductors 31 using a combined resistance value R of the parallel circuit section 53 measured by the measuring section 13 and an expression: R=(a resistance value of one resistor 33/N). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
