<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler and a glass fiber matching optical properties (a refractive index nd, an Abbe's number νd) of a transparent resin and hardly causing alkaline elution for improving transparency and reliability of a resin composite substrate. <P>SOLUTION: Glass for the resin composite substrate includes, as a glass composition, by mass% in terms of the following oxides: 50-65% of SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>; 0-20% of Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>; 0-20% of B<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>; 5-20% of MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO+ZnO (as a total of MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO, and ZnO); 0-5% of Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O+Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O+K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O (as a total of Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, and K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O); 0-10% of TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>; 0-10% of ZrO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>; and 0-2% of SnO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
