<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a functional analysis of artificial extremities without complex measuring hardware. <P>SOLUTION: The artificial extremity is a set 30 for carrying out a basic function, designed in a module equipped with at least one detachable functional part, and particularly this part attains an additional function. A sensor assembly 33' with a size adapted to dimensions relevant for the installation of the functional part is installed in place of the detachable functional part to carry out the analysis without using a complicated external device and measuring device. The sensor assembly 33' measures force, acceleration and/or torque generated during the use of the artificial extremity 30 to optimize the setting of the basic function of the artificial extremity.
